Why I build these tools

I've worked as a software engineer for more than 20 years. Over that time, every project produced a handful of internal tools—little utilities that smoothed rough edges, automated tedious steps, or made creative work more enjoyable. Many of those tools stayed hidden in repos or on my local machine. ProjectTAC is my way of turning the most useful ones into services that anyone can use.

Built from real-world needs

  • For developers: Scriptable helpers, debugging aids, and workflow shortcuts that I rely on daily.
  • For creatives: Audio, media, and storytelling utilities that grew out of collaborations with artists and producers.
  • For teams: Browser-based apps that remove friction so people can focus on shipping, not on glue work.

These aren’t theoretical demos—they’re battle-tested solutions from actual client and product work.

Free to use, sustained by ads

I offer these services for free because useful tools should be accessible. To help cover hosting and maintenance costs, I run a few ads. My goal is simple: keep the tools online and improving without putting them behind a paywall.

What you’ll find here

  • Practical utilities built by a working engineer, not a marketing team
  • Privacy-respecting, browser-first experiences
  • Open-source roots with room for community feedback and contributions

How you can help

  • Use the tools and tell me what works (and what doesn’t)
  • Share them with other developers and creatives who might benefit
  • If you like them, keep your ad blocker off here—those small revenues keep the lights on

Thanks for stopping by. I’m always building, refining, and shipping the next set of tools that make our work a little easier and a lot more fun.
